Hi everyone,
Well, as you see on the subject line, I'm doing it all over
again...but for the last time...I promise!
You have been very supportive over the years. I can't thank you enough
for that. With your help, a total of $35,000 over the 3 RAAMs has
been raised for people in need. I have personally accomplished my
dream of finishing solo RAAM in 2007. I think It's time for me to move
on and do other things, maybe more normal or less crazy if you will!
However, I want to do it one last time as I feel like I can do better.
This year will be obviously very special and there will be a lot going
on during this project. The fundraising will benefit Partners In
Health and Nashoba Learning Group. There will be also some very
interesting scientific studies done during the race, using flow
cytometry so you know a little bit more what we do in our labs.
Finally in the news, a film "Bicycle dreams" by Stephen Auerbach,
telling the story of the RAAM 2005, will have its world premiere this
coming Saturday at the Newport Beach Film Festival. Information about
ticket and hours are posted on my website.
